Works For Me -- Maybe You, Too!!

The years have passed and a lot of makeup has come and gone, but these are the ones I really like.  A few are very inexpensive and some not so, but in no special order here they are.

Pond’s Cold Cream- perennial since I was 17 years old!

NARS Illuminator

Cle de Peau Beaute- concealer.  Pricey but worth it!  Tube lasts a long time and dark spots disappear!

Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Moisturizer SPF 15

NARS - tinted moisturizer or Chanel Vitalumiere Foundation

Shiseido- eye shadow

Lancome- eyebrow pencil, eyeliner and Hypnose Star mascara

Cover Girl- lipstick

  1. Whoa - you're rocking some killer brands there, Joanie! I'm too lazy to use cold cream so for me it's L'Oreal Age-Defying Wipes. So far they haven't wiped off any age, just mascara. Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer with SPF-something, Cover Girl mascara, and Cover Girl lipsticks but they've changed all the formulas and colors and now I'm confused.

The illuminator looks cool - exactly where do you put it? I'm saving this list!

    1. Hi Lost Roses
Illuminator is applied in very small dots under the outer corner of each eye. Blend in-remember it takes a very small amount. Gives your face a bit of luminosity.

  2. It's neat how some really inexpensive products work well despite their low price. My favorite discovery of late is ULTA's store brand automatic eyeliner. If you play your cards right, sometimes you can get them for $1 each on sale! (Normally $8 or so, which is still a great price...)
